We are proud to be partners with INJAZ UAE, a local chapter of INJAZ Al Arab and member of Junior Achievement Worldwide (JAW). JAW is one of the world’s largest non-profit business education organizations, reaching over 10 million students a year across 121 countries. It serves as a nexus between the business community, educators and volunteers working together to empower young people to own their economic success.
Every year, Injaz strives to:
- Increase the skills and economic participation of youth in UAE.
- Encourage youth in UAE to take initiative and become entrepreneurs.
- Enable youth in UAE to plan their career through business mentoring programs and activities.
- Link youth in UAE with successful role models from the private sector.
Give UAE corporations an opportunity to shape their future workforce and support Emiratization.
So far this year, DIPS has partnered with Injaz in delivering a “More than Money” Workshop to students from grades 4, 5, and 6. This program is designed to focus on raising education to younger age group students over proper and wise spending, saving and importance of being a SMART Consumer in tough times. The goals of the program included:
- Introducing economics and business concepts to students.
- Encouraging students to use innovative ways to learn money-management skills that develop positive attitudes.
- Identifying students’ personal skills and interests, while exploring businesses and future careers.
